The SESP Award - John Barge, a Lifetime Achievement Award?
I feel like a little bit of a dick talking about this because it's like, okay, somebody got an award. So they gave John Barge, basically a lifetime achieved an award. Given his research legacy and the kind of disaster that what I'm just going to call social priming has been, seems super weird to give this guy a life achievement award. That feels like a move that is sort of like deliberately enforcing the old school SESP brand. It would be nice to have that in a way that doesn't feel like name dropping or something like that. But the field is so big. I like, it's hard to imagine what that looks like going forward.
