The Politics of Technology

The tech industry had a long political honeymoon in this country where most politicians were kind of hands off and it was almost kind of like even the tech industry talking point was, you know, leave this thing alone. But since Trump was elected they've taken their 'toning for their hands off approach by throwing a bunch of ideas out there that seem like really great punishments to big tech' The regulation is going much more in the direction of where we regulate other industries such as airlines or healthcare centers with some pretty broadly held consumer pain point that persists.
