The Paradox of Happiness in Right-Wing Politics
The neoliberal happiness project is the promise of another technique of earning. Follow your bliss as an instruction is exactly that theme. But yeah, but to phrase it so starkly that whatever happiness you can generate is actually doubly good because it can be, you can exploit it? Is it very creepy about it? Yeah. I mean, probably once was the case that happiness, states of happiness were thought to be ends in and of themselves. Now it's reversed and happiness, you know, emotionally states are instruments towards other goals.
