The Politics of NASA Spending
In Europe and certainly Britain, I think e-sus spending is like it flies massively under the radar. It's never on the news. But presumably Americans, they talk about NASA budget. There is definitely a current in US politics where people think that we should not be spending money on spaceflight because there are people starving here. Why would you do those two same things if you don't have the budget for it?It makes zero sense. If I were in charge of ESA, which my French is not very good, so I don't think it would work. The European space agency has spent 10 or 15 years trying to create a virtual industry with a much more vibrant business model than
