Is That a Beautiful Idea?
Peter's vision is of a church that is practising the way of jesus together in a neighborhood or a city. The local assembly or church can then become, and i just love this idea, an academy where people throng from the surrounding community to learn how to live. Only by taking this as our immediate goal can we intend to carry out the great commission. Is that a beautiful idea? I'm an idealist and a perfectionist.
