There's a lot of things wrong with this film, but we're not going to talk about all of them. I'm just going to delve into two specific things that we can talk about in terms of storytelling. As storytellers, oftentimes what we have to do to present a character to our audience is to explain who this person is through anecdote. The problem is Kristen Wigg's character does not really come across as a lonely, desperate, sad person at all in the film.
