Ancient species of humans almost walked through our genetic past, like left footprints in our genetic past. And we think that it could answer questions. Instead of answering specific questions, it just like blew up our entire model. It answers loads of questions, such as, you know, wor e ante tells our cousins or our ancestors. But what happens in sciences? You get these sort of notal points right where there'sa huge mass of information, and then suddenly it fuses into this one big thing. So everything flows into this one point in time and space, and we all lose our minds,. The whole field massively explodes after that.
When scientists examined the DNA of ancient bones found near a Himalayan lake, they were forced to confront a seemingly impossible conclusion. This episode originally ran on March 24, 2021.
