The Virtue of Curiousness

St. Thomas Aquinas describes the virtue, but he also helps us to understand the virtue by describing the vice. The vice that he distinguishes from studiousness is curiousness. And what does that look like? Well, it's a kind of like intellectual thrill seeking. So we're tempted to seek knowledge of things that are less important over and against the knowledge of things more important.
