philosopher David chalmers says virtual worlds are not illusions or fictions. He believes that within a century, we will have virtual realities that are indistinguishable from the non virtual world. If we want to retain a sense of meaning and purpose in humanity as we make this transition, if we want these worlds and the one we leave behind to be vibrant and equitable, then we need to start thinking about it.
