The Dedication of the Wall of Jerusalem
The dedication ceremony involved two processions on the wall. There was then a general cele ration for all the people, with great rejoicing and many sacrifices participated in. Nehemiah and zerobabel are here connected as both of them oversaw the completion of great construction projects. Now finally, with the dedication of the wall, jerusalem is re established as a city after the painful years of exile.
