The History of Dinosour Poop
Fossil feces are trace fossils, which means that they provide evidence of an animal's havior. Scat becomes a copperlihte when it gets buried quickly under the right conditions. After enough time, voila, you have a fossil. Copper lihtes don't just come from dinosaurs. They're the word used to describe fossili scat from any animal,. From any period of time. And i was really excited to find out that feces can actually fossilize too so we can study those to tell us about extinct animals.
