The Greenlining of the Debt Ceiling

The debt ceiling is the only effective lever point to force any meaningful fiscal restraint. The initial bill, the quote limit, save and grow bill that the house passed, increase the federal debt limit by one point five trillion dollars. So based on current spending, that will be in excess of four trillion dollars. It's also designed by the way, we're going to hit the debt ceiling again in January of 2025.
