Thrandell and Mordor
Thrandell and his dad go to the war of the last alliance at the sort of end of the second age, beginning of the third. They besiege mordor, like the, the movies portray it very quickly, and in the books it's only reference. And they've squeezed saron slowly to the point where he actually has to come out and do battle himself. That is not his emo. He ends up inheriting the throne there on the battlefield with his dad,. Like, having just most of his people just having perished horribly in front of him. So that's kind of the explanation, an universe, for why he's such a reticent and cautious ruler.
