I couldn't agree more with having a good HR business partner carries on a wait in that situation. Good advice. But again, it goes back to how much does this person embracing wanting to improve versus not? I find how often I recognize my team publicly and how consistently I ask for their opinions in front of executives is big. And more of the work that I do on this is with my team, right? Helping them develop competence and confidence.
