The Honor of Giving Your Life for the Jews

The God of the Jews called him to give his life for the Jews. It was an honor. And I think he would have fought at a high honor to have his body disposed of in the same way that his ashes, as they were burned, would have mingled with the ashes of the Jews who died. Bonhoeffer really believed that obeying God unto death is the way to defeat evil. That is the Jews of Europe is what God calls one to do, even unto death.
