In this form, I see prefigured more than I do in communes and rural, deliberate living communities. In these sort of moments of insurgent social reproduction, I see a prefiguration or something beyond the family. People might bring their children into protest, but in protesting, the protest itself becomes a site of reproduction. And there's some really striking examples of that.
