I do what I call a hand card deadlift now. We wedge on either a bazoo or the deck or soul steps and we hope the bar to a pendulum. There's a lot of easier ways to do this, but it's just what our setup is. So I'm not hooking weight pulling me back on my body. But that's something to explore if you have a young player begin.
