The author talks about his fascination with disorientation. How does it relate or connect to your fiction? The last novel, the book of dave, is probably my most placy in that way. I think there are writers who aren't of place and those who know where they're going. And i think we have the experience of reading a novel that's set in a place - even if not the writer knows what they're writing about.
