The Importance of Surrender
In Matthew 26, Jesus went to a place called Gethsemane. He spent the entire night praying to His Father in heaven. "My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death," he told his disciples. In other words, there is no stronger way that He could have communicated the angst,. The emotion, the weight of knowing what He was about to endure.
