The Evolution of the Q
The Q designed these creatures to only get pregnant after an enormous amount of population. Their lives consisted of eating, sleeping, and fornication with a blissfully ignorant lack of intelligence. Spacers formed homes inside of hollowed-out asteroids in order to adapt to gravity. The predators eventually evolved into a more intelligent being. They grew grasping hands instead of claws and the teeth receded into a socially-displade organ.
