Josephine Baker - The Most Famous Dancer in a Banana Skirt
Josephine Baker used her fame as a weapon against the Germans and their allies in World War II. She would write mysterious messages or people would write hidden invisible ink messages on her sheet music, which she would take through roadblocks. If she'd been caught doing any of this, she could be killed. The information she gathered and passed on to Allied commanders saved tens of thousands of American lives.
