Is There a Grounding Line?

The antarctic ice sheet is the largest single mass of ice on earth, very thick layer of ice. Most of it sits on top of bedrock and has a 'grounding line' This is the point at which the glaciers are no longer attached to the bed rock. Scientists have been long worried about this, that there might be some sort ofof runaway effect.
