The opinion that Malik ibn Walid was a Muerta. He was a rebel against Abu Bakr, which removed him from the fold of Islam. So his wife was now not necessarily a widow of a Muslim man. She was actually a captive. And therefore he could easily free her and marry her. That's the other side, other side of the argument. Ultimately, we're going to have to leave this one in the hands of Allah, Subhanahu Wa'Zala.
