What if our leaders did have that understanding? Is that a possibility? I think it's more likely american leadership would have that understanding after a failed drama like he bion war, rather than before it. The problem is youre usually less likely to have that self awareness when you're on a role. And again, it doesn't excuse our lack of awareness and sensitivity to benmys culture,. But it does go a long way toward explaining why we pay precious little attention to what we should have been exploring a much greater depth.
