The Effects of Training Volume on Muscle Damage

I think there's a very common assumption that as soon as we start doing strength training, and we've been training with exercise for a couple of weeks, we're no longer experiencing muscle damage. Well, that's simply not true. We have great data showing that trained individuals do experience muscle damage after a workout. It's pretty much impossible to get post-workout fatigue without some muscle damage to some degree, even if it's only a very small amount.
