Roseflower, the Father's Daughter, Had Miscarried
The father found the stepmother. He didn't want to hear such terrible rumors about his daughter and that boy she was set to marry. If they were just rumors, he wouldn't even hear them. Night he rolled over and went to sleep. She waited until he began snoring. Ok, back up planin middle of the night, the stepmother screamed. Roseflower had miscarried. Well, the wedding couldn't take place now. There would be so much talk. She would have to hide here in the house for a long, long time. I mean, after all, what future was there for her? Now?
