The first thing he worked on was in advertising, which at the time he was not thrilled by. But you know, working at really showed me exactly like how vital the ads ecosystem is to what enables the web to be as magical and interesting, and wide-reaching as it is now. "I'm sure you've worked on some pretty amazing things over the years," CNN's John Sutter asks him. He says that Google has been a great place for him to start his career.
