indigenous bolivians believed that the goddess of earthen fertility opens her mouth for offerings in august. They like leave food, like cocoa leaves and sweets and stuff like that. Sometimes they give live animals. And at this festival, theyd like bury that. If it was like plywood, i would kind of understanding. But their version of drawing on the face is to bury you alive in a glass coffin.
