How to Find a Drummer for a Live Band
When you get the deal and everything's going on, of course, there's no pea-horn band. By far, the hardest thing to nail down was a drummer. I needed someone who could play to a click, but also swung pretty hard. And ultimately, we didn't find one. We did went to, I think there were like 60 guys. Like the next time, named Scotty Kugen, and he plays in Brides of Destruction now,. He played with a metal kid in the car from Chicago. The rest of the guys were my friends.
