Cosby's Office in the Basement of the House
Cosby was the first black person to be a main character on a network tevy drama. His career was always cloaked in change, but he's an important figure because he's "a wite, black leader" He could have had his office anywhere in the world and it wouldn't have looked as rear when you looked back on it. But for some reason on that show, and he could have been, as myo says, you could have been a dentist. And so being black is a charged identity.
