In the nineteenth century elits argued against enfranchising white male workers. They said they were incapable of sort of a rational will formation. So what they argue instead is, no, make us all independent. Ah, ah, that's why we need workers. That's why you need a producer's co operative. You need t abolish these employers, because they're the real threat. And so i think there's still strong continuity in this particular problem with the nineteenth century. The power of bosses, has been much more naturalized in the present.
