The Left Hemispheric Sees the World in a Different Way
The left hemisphere sees the world as a set of problem items on a tray that need to be put together. The right hemisphere sees something that is already beyond our capability to understand, that is living, changing and an evocative whole pregnant with meaning. And i trace the ways in which the balance between these two visions of the world has been either kept lost over those periods of time. I thought that that was something significant about our our civilization now. In each case, it presaged the downfall of the civilization. It happened at the end of the greeks and the romans; then we went into dark ages for thousand years. We may not have recoup much for that particular downfall
