How to Make Reading Faster When Limited by Reading From the Disk

Amazon realized that 18 hundred milliseconds to the page load time has an impact of 1% on the bottom line. If I compare that to a local SST or NVMe, I have sub millisecond response times with hundreds of thousands of operations per second. And how many seconds is so small that most people can't even perceive.
