Nezzie and Harks Clapped, but I Don't Get the Ending.
Nezzie and Harks were walking through the wilderwood. They saw trees with chunks of bark cut off, dark purple sap dripping from them like tears. There were stumps everywhere as tall as nezzie was. Hundreds of trees had been cut down and carried ay,. The earth bare and wasted behind, spread with a thick salt so nothing could grow again. Nezzie choked on her words. This was cruel. They weren't just cutting trees for wood. They wanted to hurt them, to destroy them, to ruin them.
