Do We Worship at Gerizim, the Temple That Should Have Been There?

The Samaritans had a temple on the top of Mount Gerizim, but it was anciently Shechem. And that temple was destroyed by the high priest John Hierarchanis prior to Jesus's life. So he says, go call thy husband and come hither. And the woman said, I have no husband. Mike: This story is where Jesus presents this idea that maybe her question is wrong. He thinks what he's trying to do is see him for who he is after he has been crucified.
