The King of Moab Revolts Against the King of Israel

A famous archaeological find was discovered in the 1860s of believe by an Anglican missionary. It's known either as the Meshe Steely or the Moabite stone refers to the to the same to the same find. And it tells part of this same story that we are now reading about in second Kings chapter three. The Moabites, blessed by their God, K'Mosh, were able to throw off the dominion of of the northern kingdom of the Omri dynasty.
