The Cancer Disaster
Cancer delays in the three years will be nearly 160,000 people not reading the target for being treated on time. We've lost 35,000 patients completely out of the cancer pathway. So now 50% of people are missing the cancer weight in times. For every four weeks delay that can be a 10% increase in death rate. This is an absolute disaster. We can't avoid a pandemic, but we could have avoided this cancer catastrophe. I think some bits were good. We did very well with the vaccines. But we will also judge some things as very poor.We went into COVID with the worst survival figures in the Western world. And due to our lack of capacity
