The Micro Trends Are Really Interesting
The word chugi was like big for two, three weeks. Then the new york times rote about it in a kind of fizzled away. Now it's become like a weird punch line, and it won't make any sense by next year. But that, to me, is the more exciting space than micro trends. The ultra fast traders are looking at what the machines are doing over a period of 3 seconds. They're trying to find out how much money can be made from one point difference. That could mean a zillion dollars or even $1 million.
