The Importance of Phrenesis
In order to make any kind of moral judgment about anything in the world, I need to relate it to some kind of principle. And so that's why Aristotle says, if you don't think about human things, specifically humanity, then your knowledge becomes useless. The thing in you that is able to rightly make that connection between the world of ideals and the world of reality is your phrenesis, your practical wisdom.
