Feature Analysis in Linguistics

Bianca: I sometimes suspect that this sort of feature analysis exists entirely to make it easier to explain some of the things we're going to be talking about today. It's not necessarily like when we talk about phonemes and we talk about a lot of things in linguistics, we're talking about a model of what's going on in your mind.
