The Long Interrupted Shot
In every frame there's this existential exhaustion amongst our three characters and even watching the end again. There's a sense of longing. And coming into your approach often we see this repeated kind of mechanism by which the interlocutor is off-screen which has the effect of increasing the dramatic tension of the on-screen character. So maybe you would talk a little bit about that decision and your blocking and the way you use the camera to increase pressure on the characters. Thank you very much.
