The Importance of Art School
I was going to do comic books until I read that article in a comic book magazine of interviews and criticism that mentioned Cal Arts. There wasn't the art school to go to at the time where you could get a degree in comic book art, but Cal Arts would give you a batch of art and character animation. So it was like, okay, I'm not a fine artist. But I can go to this art school and my parents will approve and I can do cartoons or whatever happens to.
