The Prisoner's Dilemma
I think economics, for a long time, has over invested in a certain mode of knowled there is nothing inherently wrong. I just think that the best way to understand a world is to do as much as possible in using as many different methods as possible. The truce in trenches of woldwe one is a good example of the failure of the prisoner's dilemma with infinite horizon and titfotat strategy. And i thinks it's very much happening in economics.
