Liberation Theology - Can a Catholic Be a Socialist?

Some liberation theologians say we don't have to be a marxist. As i show in my book, can a catholic be a socialist? The church has repeatedly condemned communism, socialism and the other natural results of marxist ideology. Liberation theology freely borrows from marxism. But aquinass use of the true things found in aristotle is not the same as the errors of marxism that are at the forefront of liberation theology. For example, liberation theology feels no obligation to account to social scientists for any use it makes, correct or otherwise, of marxus terminology and ideas.
