Deaf People in a Conversation
A lot of spaces are too narrow and confining for a good conversation, says Robert Halms. There's the sense that buildings were not designed in such way that they accommodate deaf people. The university has he display of an old door bell. It's about four feet high, with a round metal handle attached to a chain. And at the other end of that chain is a lead weight.
