Talks Didn't Get Anywhere

There have been two rounds of talks between Gillian Keegan and the unions over pay in recent weeks. Head teachers are saying to me that they do expect a settlement later this year. They expect it to be that they're going to have to pay for it out of extra money they have been given, which they have been happily planning to spend on other things. I think maybe Labour is waiting and watching to see how this plays out.
