The Main Principle of Aristotle's Philosophy of Nature

Aristotle's main principle is that all things of nature are composed of matter and form. This means they have a pluripotentency or omnipotency latent within them, he says. New things are generated from out of it as in the case of wood which burns. The four principles together give us a rationale for many aspects of Aristotle’s philosophy of nature.
