It bears very little comparison to john wyndham's original novel, of turning characters around to fit modernity. If you expect a classic retelling of the novel, this ain't what you're going to get. It then becomes enjoyable if you just watch it as a spooky supernatural that is roughly based on the original novel. Eddy sa: The first three correspondents are all called ead. Dan iversly ne caviat: I'm not one of those disgruntled viewers who complains when reviews don't like what i am watching.
