Is There a Higher Moral Value Than That?
A value is made of value by human choice, and not by some intrinsic quality in itself out there. Nothing is higher than that, so to speak, which is to be regarded as the highest moral value. To call a thing a high moral value is to say that some man or other is ared to live or die for it. If says cant, in effect, that which is undoubtedly true about inanimate natuream the law of causality, were true about all aspects of human life, then indeed there would be no morality.
