This is straight up guru nonsense. Pure postmodern obfuscation. This is guru city. It's ridiculous that this appeared in popular mechanics. Nobody who cares about machining or knows the level of precision necessary to machine metal could possibly accept something like this. And again, it doesn't matter how you feel. The need for clarity is paramount. So you're either on the side of gurus who are trying to introduce confusion so that they can force people to rely on their greater wisdom Or you're working with teachers who are clarifying things so that everybody gets sharper. One of these leads to a prosperous society, the other one leads to cults. You can work out which ones which.
